Back from endoscopy...
I am home from my endoscopy and I did in fact have a stricture. It was 8 and they dialated it to 15. It really wasn't that big of a deal but I was so darn worried that after getting my family up at the crack of dawn the day after thanksgiving that there would be no problem.
But all in all it was easy and I am eating my popsicles now.

I hope that I can explain it correctly but a stricture is the most common complication with WLS. At the entrance of the esophagas to the stomach, which is called the stoma or stomal something or other, scar tissue can form narrowing the opening. Or at least that is what I thought it was. In order to correct it they do an endoscopy and go in with a balloon to stretch it back out. Symptoms include that you can't keep things down but for me it was the feeling of food being stuck.
I hope I was able to help.
