Hi all,

Whatcha eatin?

Me?

Not sure yet. I haven't been a good planner this week.

B - 16oz mootopia, 2 scoops Click protien, ice - blended

L - ? I wi**** were a whopper, but it will likely be yogurt and maybe some cheese and pears

D - ?  I think it will be a leftover bbq chicken leg, some baked beans, and cooked carrots

S - 16oz mootopia in the evening, or a cup of tea with honey

Well. this day is going to be an eating disaster.   I have already eaten one bagel with cream cheese, and two cranberry scones.  Oh, and a protein shake.

Ok Jenn let's meet at the TX/LA border and share a Whopper Jr.  It is the only thing I have been craving since my pre-op diet and I have yet to satisfy that craving!

Pre B - decaf coffee
B - Satsuma
S - Kashi bar
L - grilled chicken salad
S - Activia Light Yogurt
D - not sure - maybe a fried egg and toast

I'm right there with ya'll! That is the only thing I have craved since my surgery 6 months ago -- a Whopper. I could down one of those suckers right now and love every minute of it. Especially if it had extra mayo and a huge side of fries (and maybe onion rings too). Oh! And a Route 44 Diet Coke from Sonic.

Oh, wait. Maybe that's why I had to have Gastric Bypass?

Actually I've learned that all drive-thru's are out. That's sad for me because that's what I lived on pre-surgery.

Anyway.

Today's Meal Plan:

B - 16oz Mootopia, a splash of coffee for flavoring, 2 splenda packets

S - Atkins Advantage protein shake - Mocha Latte (the only flavor I like)

L - Homemade turkey chili/taco soup (my own made up recipe)

S - 3 crackers, 1 Laughing Cow cheese wedge

D - Homemade turkey chili/taco soup (my staple)

I went to my Nutritionist today and she said I wasn't eating enough. Go figure. She also said I'm not in a stall like I think I am. And she also said some more things that made me feel a lot better about this whole ordeal. Thank God for her. I paid U.S. Cash Freakin' Dollars for my surgery and once I gave everyone their checks, I have not received very much support, which is disappointing, so I had to seek out my own Nut and I think I found a good one. She always talks me down from the edge.

I have also been told, repeatedly, to eat more. Then the next time I see the surgeon I'm eating too much. Whatever, I'm eating the same. I was not impressed with my nutritionist or support, but apparently they have a new nutritionist. I haven't met her, I just do my best. Its not like I haven't read EVERYTHING there is to read regarding this stuff already. I know more about post-wls nutrition than I do about my dissertation project (yipes!). I figure I'm qualified at this point, and its just up to me to do what I know I am supposed to be doing.

I never liked whoppers much before surgery - hamburgers in general not a biggie. French fries and onion rings, yes, burgers no. I do like burgers now though, minus most of the bun and without mayo or cheese. Cheese and burger have never gone well together IMO. And yes I am weird.

Did someone say double whopper with cheese????  LOL!!!  I will fly down and I think we can split it 4 ways - LOL!!!

B - Kay's Naturals Cereal and Skim Milk
L- Turkey Meatballs with marinara sauce
D- Rotisserie Chicken, a tsp of mac & cheese, peas

Several sugar-free popsicles

still fighting to get the water in--even when I drink, drink, drink---I'm still barely getting in 24 oz a day

b - fiber one cereal and cheerios...down to the end of the box
L - roast beef and swiss cheese
S - chipotle cheddar cheese slice
D - turkey & ham sandwich on double fiber bread
     I ate the first half and then ate the other half about 45 minutes later
S - turkey breast 3 oz
S - 1/2 c SF vanilla icecream
