I must be crazy

I went back to my plastic surgeon for a recheck.  It had been 2 months since I had been there, and I'm doing really, really terrific.  I'm still a bit tired at times, but other than that - we are all very pleased.  Anyway, for months he has been telling me that we won't discuss my legs or other surgery.  The other day, he said he was ready to do my legs.  I got the quote yesterday of my costs.  I've called and asked for his next available elective surgery date.  Since he works at Kaiser, he only does these elective surgeries on weekends, so right now, it looks like I will get new thighs sometime in early February.  YAY!  I'm trying not to think of complications or other issues like that - just new thighs.  I love my new torso following the breast lift and body lift, so I am really looking forward to new legs.

Also, I've registered for classes at my local college.  I'm headed back for my nursing degree after 25 years.  Going through all of this has made me realize that I really do want to be a nurse.

Who would have guessed that this surgery would have changed my life so much!
