Amazing NSV

I went today to get a new ID for work and decided to ask them to retake my picture. The last picture was taken in late July/early August. I cant get the picture posted in this post, but here is the link to the picture in my profile.

I am amazed by how different I look! I really don't see it when I look in the mirror, but this picture really drives it home for me!

WOW! the change is amazing! you really look great -- and younger too! (at my age, that's always a good thing!)

i really know what you mean about how you can see the difference in pictures when you can't see it in the mirror -- it was the same for me.

I also had a number of people (including my PCP) tell me that they never "saw" me as that heavy when I showed them the two pictures side by side. My PCP even told me this morning, "I always thought of you as weighing less than what I knew the scale said." And I was only 10 lbs heavier then the first time I met her. Of course my weight had shifted quite a bit from having two kids.

Thanks!!!! I really think the VSG is great!!!! I told my PCP this morning that I did not regret it one bit!!! Even if I didnt go any lower in my weight!
