Today is my 1 year anniversary
I had my surgery 1 year ago and i cant beleive the diffrence.
I am no longer on insulin and need no medical device to assist me and i can do everything for myself.
I have freedom its so nice to get up in the morning and get dressed without having to search for something that might fit ,then to get in my vehicle and go.
I started at 526 and went down to 334 but now i am as of this morning at 342
Im upset at my gaining few pounds back ,but they come and go so i think they have to do with my female issues.
Either way i am so happy with myself.
I am so thankful to Dr.Sonnastine for giving me my life back ,he is my hero.
I can finally be the wife and mother i want to be.
We had a flood in our basement this friday and i helped clean up ,i didnt set and bark orders.
Also i have my hysterectomy and the skin removal on the 26th of this month.
I wonna thank you all for your advice help and support .
Newbies it is a long road and you might hit a few bumps but it is well worth the trip.

You're awesome. don't worry about a few pounds. Look how far you have come! You are an inspiration! I love being able to participate in stuff again too. I even like cleaning! lol. I think it's beacuse we couldn't before.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!
Two years after that....
I could not be happier.
