Shooting on Fort Hood, TX....

Man have you guys heard on the news about 12 being killed and 31 injured in Fort Hood, TX yesterday? That was RIGHT IN MY BACK YARD! Literally I can walk there from my house. I lived on fort hood for 5 years when I was younger, and my husband works there now! It took him hours to get out of Fort Hood last night, they had it locked down. You hear it all over the news, but you never think it will happen to you.  It is a very sad day here in Fort Hood / Killeen, TX. Really heartbreaking, isn't it?  I'm so sorry it was close to you and affected your husband.  It is just unbelievable.  Take care.

Glad you and your family are OK. My son left Ft Hood in July and is in Korea now, but hopes to return there next summer. It's a nice community you have there and a tragedy that this happened to good people. I'm glad the medical response was rapid to help the wounded and I am certainly praying for all our soldiers and for the leaders who make decisions that affect them.
