Going Through the Clearance Process - Dr Greenbaum

I had RNY back in 2003, stoma stretched now up again and gaining, I am over 50 BMI and am in the process of being cleared by my doctors, my last appointment is tomorrow YAHOO!!!! and I am gaining.  I remember Dr Greenbaum (he is going to revise my RNY to DS) Nurse saying you had to have a BMI of under 50 to do the surgery, I am now at 54 and climbing.  Has anyone had the DS revision and do you know if he is serious about being under.  If so, I guess I should go on liquids asap.  Please help, thanks!
