I've been in the Land of De-Nile too long. When I went to my consultation I was 416 pounds. My heighest weight ever. I too have to do the 6 month diet documentation. The scale at my PCP only goes to 350! I have to get weighted at my surgeons location and then take that to the PCP! Next week I go for month #5. Last weigh in I was 402, BMI was 67. ........Sigh......... It's a loss from where I started, so hopefully they won't deny my appeal. Best wishes and hugs too, Ruth

Ruth, Thanks for answering my post. BOY! wouldnt you just LOVE to meet the person who thought up the 6 month documented diet and exercise idea? Probably the same person who thought up the size of clothes "one size fits most" ..............sorry. but it doesnt fit me. Girlfriend, I know exactly how you feel. Do you know I read a profile that the womans doctor actually took her out and weighed her on a truck scale???????? and the poor thing only weighed over 350! I'm afraid I'd would have had to the doc. Take care and let me know how things are going with your own journey.

Bridget, A truck scale?! How horrible! It was suggested to me to try getting weighed at a post office! Can you believe that?!? I am with you on the 6 month diet documentation. Heck I have 30 years of failed diets behind me! LOL Do they think this happened overnight?! shheeesh! One size fits most?!?! That's a good one too. It doesn't fit MOST of me! LOL Keep me updated on your progress. Huggs, Ruth
