My surgeons office just called! I have finally been approved.. Its been a very long fight with the insurance company but Im finally approved.. They will schedule my surgery next week!! But they did say that my surgery would be within 6 weeks!! Im so happy I dont know whether to cry or do backflips.. Im opting for the crying since backflips at 325lbs isnt exactly safe!! Thank you to everyone for supporting me during my this process!! Amber

Congratulation Amber! I remember when I was approved, I was filled with fear! But, I was scheduled for surgery in 3 weeks, I stayed scared for 2 weeks, then I was on a clear liquid diet for the last week and just felt headachy and yucky (but no longer scared) up to the day of surgery. You all are the best... I couldnt wait to share the news with everyone that I was approved.. I was so happy and excited to tell everyone here that I forgot to call and tell my family! So you all know but my family is still in the dark about it all!! Im sure Ill drive everyone crazy with a million questions over the next week or so... Thanks!
