I surprised myself...

Hi everyone... I just had to write and say that I really surprised myself the other day. For some reason that really has no intelligent explanation, my dad and I ended up in a race to see who could get their grocery shopping done the fastest. All caught up in the moment, as soon as I got out of the car, I just literally started running towards the store. I didn't even realize I was running at first, but I did, I ran all the way from the parking lot to the store, and I wasn't even really out of breath! Do you know how long it has been since I ran?? I don't think I can even remember the last time - maybe Jr. High? Anyway, I was pretty proud of myself for that... still have a long way to go, but maybe I'll be running a marathon when I reach goal Tanja

oh tanja, GOOD FOR YOU!!! I have a feeling its the "little things" that we havent done for a long time that will mean the most to us. Good Luck......and keep on running!

I guess I forgot to mention who won - huh? Well, actually my dad won, but he had only 1 item to get... I had about 10, and I was only 3 minutes behind him! Thanks for the encouragement! Tanja
