Post Op Update

I had my surgery on Monday this week. Fortunately, it was uneventful. I went home on Tuesday. My pain is manageable and I am up and moving around. I have not been hungry and am finding it difficult to get all of my liquids in, but I am working on it. I am so thankful for this surgery and now I know where I am going. My thanks to all for you support. With the support of the OSS staff, my parents and friends, and Dr. Marvin, I am going to be great. It is great to finally be on the d"Losing Side". Michelle

Michelle, Congrats on the uneventful surgery! Believe me, you want this to be uneventful! It is hard to get in all your fluids at first, but, just keep working on it. Try and follow your surgeon's instructions to the letter with all your eating and drinking and you will do great! Lori 384/315.5/170

Congratulations, Michelle! Just keep moving as much as you can and push the fluids ... I know, I know ... that was the hardest thing for me too (still is, but don't tell anyone!). had mine on 8-12-05 plus gallbladder removed and hernia repaired was in some pain for a while am still sleeping in a recliner almost went all day with no pain meds been walking slowly 3 times a day glad to hear things went fine looks like we will basicly be loosing together
