Willby here.....and SCARED!!!

hi georgeann and carmella (and everyone here) I have been in a gigantic panic mode since signing my Advance Directive. It is one thing to know the mortality rate for WLS. Its another thing to be signing papers telling people what to do with your body!!!! Awwwwwwwww...you guys did my heart good to ask about me. but I'm under hereor hereor going How did you guys do it without?

Willby, I totally understand how you feel.. Ive put off doing my Advance Directive until now.. I am having surgery on Tue and I am suppose to have it ready then. All will be fine though! Good luck to you! Amber

hi willby: when is your surgery? i will admit, signing an AD is definitely a scary thing to do, but it's also very important and i'm glad they had me do it. don't know about you, but i went into this thinking if it didn't happen, i'd be dead soon anyway. so i guess i figured it was in God's hands. that was six months ago. it is soooooo worth it, willby. i'm sure you'll agree once you're past your first week out. until then, take care dorthe

Dorthe, Thank you for the reply to my post. You are an inspiration for us pre-oppers. Filling out my AD was VERY scary. But not as scary as the prospect of living in this body the rest of my life Thanks again, and take care.

Awwww sweetie, I know exactly how you feel. This was a very difficult part in my process and the one that scared my children the most. They were all for me having surgery until we got to this point. Boy was this a stressful time in my journey. Well, come out from under that or out of that and your not what your going thru is normal. We miss you when you're not here. Georgeann
