Another Surgery................

Well girls, I had to go back to my podritist on Monday and he told me that I will have to have surgery on my foot. I've had a heel spur/plantar facitis (sp) for about 2 years now and have been getting cortorzone injections in my heel and now he won't give me anymore and thearpy will not help. I was fine until he starts explaining what he will do................he will make an incision (from side to side) in the arch of my foot and "open" it up and "snip" the muscle in there. OH MY......... I'd take GBP again ANYDAY!!! For some reason, this just totally grosses me out!!! I will have to be on crutches for 3 weeks and NO pressure or getting my foot wet. This will TOTALLY suck!!!! Well it is scheduled for 9/14 at 1pm and it will be an out patient procedure and the surgery it self only takes 15 min. I'm glad I won't be "under" that long!!! Just wanted to let everyone now. I was gonna sign up for water excerises next week, but it won't happen now. All I can say is OW!! I have that Plantar Fascitis and it hurts... but I don't think it hurts enough to have that done... wow {{HUGS}} hopefully you'll have some GOOD pain meds

And just think I am dreading having to go because of a ingrown toe nail ... shame on me. I hope everything goes well Carmella and that you won't be in a lot of pain. Georgeann
