I just have to say that I love you guys on this board. I'm sooo happy that they finally started it.

I just feel more comfortable here than on the Main board. I do visit that board everyday but feel better posting here than there. I JUST WANTED EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT!!!!!!

I so completely agree with you!! I didn't like the idea at first... I have spent too long in "DE-NILE"

and didn't want to admit that I'm SMO. I had accepted "fat" and after a while even accepted "obese"

and then eventually "morbidly obese" though I think I denied that there was anything morbid about it...

When I was pronounced SMO (by virtue of BMI starting at 54.5) a was offended! But then I kinda opened up to the idea of having others who understood little things like the rash you get when your thighs rub

So now, I think I spend more time here than any other page of the site!

hi carmella: i couldn't agree more. while i love the board i've spent my last six months on and will continue to visit there, i'm finding myself on this site more and more of late.

maybe it's because i know i'll be losing weight for at least another year or more. perhaps it's because i've already seen people start the process and lose their 100 lbs and then they're done losing. they're there. they get to maintain. i don't know. but the feeling i get here is really different.

it's true, the little things - like your thighs rubbing together - or being traumatized by the site of yourself getting a haircut - or outgrowing your shower curtain - are hard to comprehend until you've had it happen to you. but once it does, it's hard to forget.
