Today was a great day for me! I have been wanting to start "eating right" for forever, but I always say I'll start tommorrow... which is always the tommorrow after, and the tommorrow after. Well, today I woke up and decided today was the day. So I logged onto FitDay and started tracking my food consumption and activities. By the days end, I have eaten about 1100 calories, with very little fat... drank 72+ ounces of water (the potty has been my friend...lol) and burned (with activities and lifestyle) a total of 4800 calories! I read somewhere that you have to burn 3500 calories to lose one pound, and at my weight I would have to eat 5400 calories to keep it where it's at (which obviously I have been eating those 5400 calories and more!), so that means I should have lost at least a pound today. Now if I can only get the energy to walk and start a light weight lifting regimen... I'll be good. The thing is, I'm not even hungry. I'm just hoping I can keep this up, because when I get stressed (which I will be soon... I start school tommorrow at a Tech School, and will be homeschooling my daughter) I eat a lot of sweet and fried foods... mostly snacking between meals. So I'll have to keep reminding myself WHY I am doing this. I also started taking a multivitamin, because I'm not sure if I'm eating the right foods to keep my vitamins stable, not to mention I'll need them after the WLS. I love this site... and this board especially. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this struggle. ::HUGS::
