i'm finally gonna come out of to say hello. i have learned so much from you guys here. I'm happy that i found this site. I just wanted to let you guys know rhat I now have a surgery date for Sept.23re I will be joining you guys soon on the loosing side.Any advice on how I should prepare for my big day? Kwheen

Kwheen, Good Afternoon! Im glad to see you come out of hiding! Good luck on your upcoming surgery. I just had my surgery on Tues the 23rd.. I came home Wed afternoon.. Its been up and down for me, Ive had some rough spots but overall each day gets better.. As far as preparing for surgery.. I dont know what advice to give.. everyone is so different.. I didnt do much to actually prepare.. I had a long wait for approval but once I got my date the time flew by so fast I didnt have time to prepare.. My nerves were shot and I was quite scared but that all passed the day of surgery.. I was calm and ready going in.... Amber, conrgats on your recent surgery. I've heard many people talking about the ups and downs of the surgery. My eyes are on the prize. The end result, a healthier, more active me.Hopefully through your days of recovery, each day will get better for you. Since I've gotten my date, the time seems to just be flying by.Right now I'm just letting everything sink in.
