Hi Deb, Wow! I'm pretty sure that I couldn't handle 7 kitties (and a dog, too). You must be a strong lady. My 3 drive me nuts at times, but like you said, they are my family, too, and they do mean the world to me. I say this as two of them are chasing each other back and forth through the house, and the other is lying on my desk, clicking the mouse at random with his chin as he rests his head on my hand. He loves to help his mom! Take Care, Tanja

Hi Deb! I hesitated to say this before, but......... since you were brave... I used to have 6 dogs and 3 kitties. And yes, at the same time. All in 'furry friends heaven' now. Miss them all, but not ready for any new ones. Have a gr-8 day. Huggs, Ruth

Hi Ruth, So sorry you lost your "furry friends". I don't know how you guys could handle that many at one time... my 3 keep me very busy - lol. I fear the day when I lose one of my boys . Two of them are inching into old age (Magie just turned 12 and Soleil is 10 1/2... Grey Bird is my baby at 6 1/2). I lost my very first dog when I was about 17, and it still makes me sad 18 years later . Take Care, Tanja

It is very sad to lose our furry family members. I used to be a pet groomer, so the numbers just kept climbing. I lost one of my dogs, Warrior, at 11 yrs. old. One cat, Sunny, at 18 yrs. old. All the rest left me at 16 yrs old (Tasha, Sam - kitties; Brandy, Sophie, Toot-Toot (don't ask), Ivan, and Rosie -doggies). Must be something about the number 16 with me (???). I could still tear up over mine too, especially my first dog, Brandy. She was a rescue from a shelter. A very special little dog! Huggs, Ruth

Tanja, You are absolutely beautiful! You must feel so good! Thanks for sharing your pictures with us! Your cats a really cute too! We have three housecats: Abby, Charlie & Micah. We had to have our fourth cat Andre put to sleep last month It was sooo sad! And we also have our son's little puppy, Jake. He is six pounds and is four months old. He is adorable, and we spoil him rotten! I call him my little "grandpuppy" Thanks again for sharing!

Hi Cynthia, Thanks for the great compliment. I do feel good, and I am looking forward to feeling even better as more weight comes off. It's been at least 7 years since I have been below 250 (or 300, for that matter), and even then, I didn't stay below for very long! My kitties really bring me a lot of joy when nothing else does. Animals are great. Sorry that you had to have Andre put to sleep. I absolutely dread the day I will have to face that, but hopefully my boys and I still have many good years together. Now I just have to find a man, and not just any man... he's got to like my boys or we won't have him! Take Care, Tanja
