Just checking in before foot surgery!!!!
Hi everyone...........
I've turned into a lurker again. I have'nt posted anything in a long time. I read the boards every night, I just haven't been in the mood to post for some reason. Maybe it has to do with my job from HELL....I HATE IT... Oh well.
The depression is still around, no meds for it yet, just hoping it is going to pass. I have to have foot surgery Wed 9/14. It will be out patient, but I will tell you I'm more scared of this than my gastric bypass!!!!
I will be on crutches for 3 weeks. OMG. This is going to be horrible. I can't even get my foot wet. I have neuropathy and drop foot in my left leg which basically means, I have NO strength in my leg to foot or any feeling. So this will be very challenging for me. I also had to order "special" crutches to meet my weight. Great.
My hair is falling out, but the weight is still falling off!!! I won't complain. I did hit a little stall, but it is moving again.
I got another before pic from my bro-in-law tonight and I just can't believe it. I'm going to post it to my page tonight.
I haven't posted my 3mo pic yet because my sis lost her cord to download me my pic, so she is doing that tonight and I will post that pic too. I have to take my 4mo pic next week also!!! Maybe I'll have my crutches in the pic.
Well sorry this is so long, I guess I should post more often so I don't ramble so much!!!!
Take Care!~~

Hope things go good for ya carmella. I know that the foot and leg is something we all take for granit everyday. Just think, you have lost all those pounds and will get along so much better on the crutches. As far as the "job from hell", you wont be there for a while do to the surgery huh? lol see good side to everything lol. hugs margaret
Carmella,
I missed you!! Congratulations on your weight loss!!!! Good luck with your poor foot. I have a theory that when we die, we are re-incarnated. if we were good people we become well-loved pets for some rich person. if we were bad people(or uncaring) we get re-incarnated as the feet of a SMO person.
Just kidding!!
I'll be thinking about you and sending good thoughts your way.
Take care

Carmella,
Wishing you the best with your surgery. I have had 2 foot surgeries and I am now happy that I have had my RNY surgery to take some of the weight off of my foot. The crutches are a tough way to get around. I couldn't put any weight on my foot for 6 weeks, doing the cast isn't so bad. I had to hop with a walker and use a wheelchair. By the way you are doing great on your weight loss. Awesome job.
