still waiting

Hi Marlena, Waiting is one of the most difficult parts of this journey. It will wear you out emotionally if you allow it too. Every day pick up that phone and politely inquire about receiving your surgery date ... if they don't give you one ask them when they think you will receive one, and follow up. We will soon be approaching the holiday season and if you don't have a date in place you may have to wait until 2006. The least they can do is give you a reasonable explaination or a date ... you deserve it. Hang in there sweety. Georgeann

hi marlena. i remember the waiting. i darn near drove me crazy. i was not a very pleasant person around that time cause i was being soooooo impatient. also spent 10 days in the hospital, result of stress, job... guess i'm trying to say - by all means call them daily, they should be able to understand, but try to not let it ruin your days. you can only do so much and then you can give it to God. hugs dorthe

I REALLY WANT TO CALL THEM TODAY BUT TODAY IS CLINIC DAY AND THEY DON'T EXCEPT CALLS ON TODAY UNLESS YOUR POST-OP HAVING A PROBLEM SO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW!
