Good morning to all! I was trying to get some house-stuff done before I get to "treat" myself with the over 50 BMI board...but I just couldn't do it!! (the housework that is) I couldn't wait to see what my pals were up to today! Candy, I am so sorry about the deaths that you have had in your family within the last 7 months. You sound like you come from a very close family. We just lost my dear brother-in-law to brain cancer in May, and that was soooo devistating for us. Even though we knew the cancer was terminal...we still had hope and wished that the diagnosis was just some kind of mistake, and that He would be alright. Anyway, hopefully you can come here whenever you want to share and vent if you want to. Sometimes venting is the bestest medicine! We are all here to help each other. I noticed a beareavement OH board under "communities" maybe you can get some comfort there or e-mail me if you want. Let me warn ya..I'm no Dr. Phil...but then again I don't care much for good old Dr. Phil and his tuff talk to fat people I didn't mean to drag everyone down...keep happy! WLS is just around the corner for some of us..and then....we can become.......REAL LOSERS!!! That said, I think it's time for my "Willy Guy" to wave bye-bye Virginia

Hi Everyone , Oops, I guess it is afternoon now... oh well. Regarding the chat room that was discussed, I wonder if we could take some kind of a poll to find out what time(s) work best for most people, and we could meet there at a specified time. When you give a time, make sure to specify time zone. I am pretty much available from like 11am-5pm and from 10pm-12am Central time... anyone else?? I still have to figure ouit what I'm going to do for some exercise today. Yesterday, I really outdid myself - I walked for about an hour and plyed tennis for about an hour, as well. Typically, I don't do that much, but first I walked by myself thinking that would be it for the day), but then different friends wanted me to do things with them, adn I felt I could handle it, so I went for it. Gosh, I a regular athlete - LOL. Take Care, Tanja P.S. I like "Willie" too

Tanja, That is fantastic that you did all that exercise...I can't wait!!!!!! I was thinking the same thing about scheduling a chat time. For me, maybe sometime between 9pm-12am Central time? What would work for everyone else? Yeah, Willie's cute, but with all the witty ladies we have on this board, we'll have to call him 'Sillie Willie' Just kidding! Talk ya' all tonight, Bye for now!

WOW!! You go girl! Look at all that awesome exercise you did! Such an inspiration! You'll be in the Olympics before you know it. I am still pre-op and can barely walk any more. I can't wait to be a loser and join in on some of that fun! Huggs, Ruth

Hi Everyone: Santina here. I tried to send my photo, but it still has not shown up on my profile. I am writing bills, and just received a phone call from my Doctors office that all the paperwork is in. So, I had to tell her what kind of surgery. I said RNY. She will submit my paperwork to the Insurance Company. I think I would have chosen DS if my doctor did it, but since he doesn't this is the next best thing. Please tell me how you all get those cute emoticons in your posts. I am not very technically minded, so need instructions. I also ordered some vitamins and supplement from bariatricadvantage. What's your opinion? Yours in recovery. Santina

Hi Santina! Don't feel bad. I was here about a month before I found the emoticons. When you are typing your post or reply, at the top, all the way to the right is a drop down box marked, Toolbar:. Under that are two drop down boxes. One says "Title Images", the other "Message Emoticons". Click the down arrow, and you will see all the emoticons and what to type next to them for them to appear. Title images show up to the left of the title of the posting. Message emoticons are wherever you type then within your message. I hope this helps. I was never very good at giving directions. I am told that I get too specific! Huggs, Ruth

Thanks Ruth: This is super. My doctor called yesterday and said all the paperwork is in. Why am I feeling so afraid today? My husband keeps telling me if I don't want the surgery, I don't have to have it....but. truth is, I don't know what I want Love, Santina
