i did it! i did it!...and i'm gonna do it again!!!
hi y'all: i just had to share this one. it's taken seven months of off again on again trying, first i had my broken leg, then my plantar fascitis, ... you get the picture. but i've been trying off and on to get exercise in.
I FINALLY GOT UP TO TWENTY MINUTES ON THE TREADMILL

when i first started it was a struggle to do just two minutes on a stationary bike. then i worked up to five. after surgery i had to stop altogether for the reasons i mentioned above, but lately i've been biking and walking and i finally made it to 20.
I'm so happy. just had to share
hugs all around

Great Job Dorthe!
You have to start small and work your way up (kind of like with most things)... especially with the leg/foot problems you mentioned. That's what I did, and I didn't even have any medical problems to prevent me from exercising (except right after surgery, of course). I started small, and now I almost feel like I could be getting somewhat into shape!

Yay Dorthe!
Congratulations on you accomplishment!
Must feel awesome!!
I have been considering getting a treadmill to help keep me moving before and especially after surgery.
I don't do well in the muggies of summer, and with winter coming, not looking forward to walking on ice either. Seeing how well you have done, I just may have to invest in one.
Again, great job! You're
now gf!
Huggs,
Ruth
