***Monday Roll Call***

Good Morning Everyone , I know Candy already posted a "good morning" message, but I was so excited because I made it up early and in time to do the official "roll call" before anyone else!! I figured I better use lost of emoticons because that's what you all like . Please don't , by any means, assume that I'm staying out of though (I just happened to get up to use the ). Well, everyone have a great Monday . I hope everyone's appointments today go well , and make sure you guys take a before you go!! As for me, I'm going back to ! Good morning Tanja! Me... I am already at work... sshhh A busy day here as always, but somehow I have to manage to call several Dr. offices...yet again today. I came into work to a voicemail from my surgeons MA saying they did not have a report as yet on my heart cath, which was done several weeks ago. The Cardio's MA promised me on Thursday that the Dr. himself would call my surgeon and my pcp directly about my heart cath on Friday. Hmmmm... does anyone in the medical profession do what they say they will?!? NOT from my experience these last nine months. Has anyone else had to call their dr.'s repeated to get every little thing accomplished!?!? Even just a yes or no answer to a question!?!? This is sooooo old for me at this point. I HAVE to have that report before Thursday as that is my last followup for the diet documentation with my PCP and he won't allow me to have surgery until cardio clears me, AND I am having a consult with a new surgeon on the same day to boot. AAaarrrgghhhhhhh!! Doctors... AND their 'staff'.... sheeesh! I hope everyone has a Marvelous Monday! Huggs, Ruth

ruth, Didnt you know that doctors/insurance companies take a special class titled" How to Torture Your Patients/Clients In 10 Easy Steps"? Its about the art of "say you'll call, but never do" I have been at this since January...so i feel your pain. A lady I talked to in January said that it had taken her a year from start to finish. WHY did I think I would be a "special case" and get my WLS the day after I decided. I am soooooooooooo delusional. GOOD LUCK RUTHheres to good news!! willby

Ruth, Im so sorry you have to fight your doctors every step of the way! I was lucky that all my testing was done and sent to my surgeon in a timely manner. From what I understand I am a rare case though.. I guess every doctor I had to see knew just how much crap I went through with my insur company and thought twice about messing with me! After fighting with Tricare for over a year I was ready to take on any doctor if they messed with me.. My pysc eval was what I feared the most, by the time I went to get it done I was on my last string of sanity and dealing with major anxiety. Thankfully my pysc understood why I was such a basket case and continues to work with me to help me deal with it all.. It will all come together for you! Just try not to let it drive ya crazy. Its hard and I know that first hand, but its so worth it!! Good luck Amber

Well it's no longer morning , but I made it through another day of work Count me in for roll call Soon I have to leave to go sign up for Curves I will be back on here later this afternoon as long as we don't get any of the severe storms they are predicting Well hope you guys have a good night if I don't see ya later so some for me. I'm getting super excited about Curves and this upcoming surgery I've been faithfully sticking to my diet this weekend although it is hard.
