I seen this while lurking on here before I found this wonderful place. I thought we could try it if anyone is interested. Basically there are 5 questions and everyone that is interested answers the questions. The 1st person to respond does the next day's 5 questions. Since we are all getting to know each other I thought this would be fun!! 1. Are you Married? 2. Kids...Grandkids...? 3. Pets? 4. Favorite Sports Team? 5. Biggest thing you are looking forward to as a post-op... (think beyond being healthy ) OR if you're a postie... what are you looking forward to or has is happened???

1. Are you Married? Yes, October 3 will be my 7th anniversary. I am married to Doc Williams, my WLS buddy... he had his 5 weeks before me. 2. Kids...Grandkids...? Not the human kind 3. Pets? YES.. two adult puppies... Libby a 6 year old black teacup poodle princess and Fritter a 5 year old lhasa apso clown! 4. Favorite Sports Team? Don't really have one... haven't had the time or inclination to be into sports for a long time... used to like to go see the KC Royals play when in lived in Kansas eons ago. 5. Biggest thing you are looking forward to as a post-op... (think beyond being healthy ) OR if you're a postie... what are you looking forward to or has is happened??? HUMMMM.... health really is the thing for me... I did this to be healthy and that is really the honest truth. I know that I am beautiful inside and out and the only person that I have to impress is my hubby and he is already smitten. There are things like being able to fly without a seatbelt extender and being able to shop in any store that I want but the bottom line is I did this to get healthy!!! Patti

To be able to take nice walks, go to the beach and really enjoy it!, being more active, I have always wanted to learn how to ride a horse and learn how to swing dance. And travel!!! I could go on and on but I will stop there. Monica F.

Hi everybody!!!! Happy Monday to you all! Questions, Questions, Questions! We don't get graded for this do we? I am married for most of my life now 25 yrs..no I am not 25 years old, my marriage is. I'm 46. I have two sons (23 and almost 16) I'll have another son driving soon......and I am all out of tylenol..jezzzzzzz! They are good kids though. I'm proud of them......I remember when they were just babies....sniff...sniff..(please pause for a tender moment) O.k. I'm done! We have had various pets in our home over the years, hamsters, cats, fish, dogs, and a turtle that the dog took a bite of. We currently have only 1 pet "Hunter" who is 3 yrs old. My son's friend's dog had a litter of puppies and Jared brought 1 puppy home....and that was it..we fell in Hunter looks like a cream colored german shepard. His mama is a Queensland Healer (a very protective breed) we aren't sure who the daddy is but...we think we spotted him in the neighborhood...LOL we're going after him for "puppy support". I have never been too much into sports..doing them or watching them. But I have to go with the AZ Diamonbacks for favorite team. I look forward to seeing or reading the wordsYOU ARE APPROVED! Not sure if that will ever happen. I don't know how I'll handle another set-back if the insurance co. denies me. So glad you guys are here for understanding. I haven't always been fat. I was a chubby kid up untill about 6th grade when my body slimmed-down. I was a size 12 - 14 when I was married. I grew and grew to size 26-28. It's weird but my BMI has gone up ever since I considered wls. And that is WITH a 6 month so-called diet. I am looking forward to people not recognizing me. Having lots more energy, Getting a career, and making my family proud of me. Hugs to everybody Virginia

Virginia(((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))), well, its a small world aint it? my BMI has gone up too since I've decided on this surgery. Has to be the stress dontcha think? I tear up too when I think of my own 3 babies. I loved being a mommy so much. And then they have to grow up and leave!! doesnt seem fair does it? I'm on my pre-surgery diet and I have to say its not going so great. But its all your guys fault with all the parties and stuff. (did you like how i threw the blame off of me and onto everyone else? take care willby
