well it took forever to get through the doctors office today. I ended up getting 3 bags of fluids. I do feel better in many ways, but my body still aches so bad! Atleast I dont have the nausea now. So things went well. I tried to get my weight but they were so concerned about the fluids that they skipped right by the scale!! So Friday when I go back I will make sure I get my turn on the scale! Hi Amber!!! Sorry to hear you've been sick. Believe me I know what you went through. I have been hospitalized twice since my surgery for dehydration. You can read my profile if you want. I had surgery on my foot last wed and I haven't been drinking hardly at all and I can tell I'm getting it again....so I'm trying to get some food and fluids in me. Best of luck to you and try to drink drink drink!!!! Carmella -87lbs in 3mo

Glad to hear you are home and at least feeling a little better. You'll get to hop on that scale in no time and I'm sure you've lost some weight. Take care of yourself so you don't start feeling bad again Anita

Amber, Glad your home and filled with fluid . But dont worry about the scale right now cause all that fluid probably made you heavier. Just keep sipping fluid all day long so you dont have to go thru that again. Feel Better, Sue

hi amber: i'm so glad you're back home and it was only dehydration. at least it was something you can do something about for yourself and it doesn't have to happen again. (silver lining) good luck on friday, but as previously posted, your weight may be up from the fluids. one gallon of liquid weighs EIGHT POUNDS. hugs to you dorthe

Hi Amber, I am so glad that you went to the doctor. And now you got re-hydrated. I have been dehydrated many times in my life and I can tell you that I ached for a few days afterwards. It will go away. It just takes a little time. Glad that you are doing better. Keep us posted! Hugs, Monica F.

Hi Amber, Glad you got home and the doctors took good care of you. How come when you go to the doctor and wish so hard that the nurse will avoid or forget to weigh you...they never do. But, when you want to weigh in because you are so curious about the scale moving (in the right direction) They blow you off???? weird huh. I agree with the previous post for you not to watch the scales at this point because now that you have all that fluid in you....you might be alittle disappointed. You can do it...Keep your eyes on the prize. I wish you well You'll be feeling great before you know it! Virginia
