I thought I was better...
Well I thought getting the fluids the other day would make me feel better but I was wrong. I ended up driving the 2 hours to my surgeon yesterday and ended up staying the night in the hospital for testing.
Dehydration was only a small part of the problem. I have a small ulcer in my new pouch and also some erosion. Why noone seems to know. Alls I know is that Im on a ton of meds now and feeling horrible!!
The nausea did not get better, it just got worse. Then came alot of pressure and burning in my pouch. I didnt waste any time getting to see my surgeon. I did catch it early enough that there isnt alot of damage and they promised that they could get it under control.
I feel horrible still, but atleast I know why now! And Im still slightly dehydrated!
Amber
Amber, did you get anything for the nausea? I had similar problems a month out of surgery and ended up having a stricture with a small ulcer in my pouch. The anti-nausea really helped me cut down on the dry-heaves, so the liquid could stay down.
Get better soon - I understand what you are going through!!
