Aerobics

Hello all! I have been doing water aerobics, but would like to start doing some low impact land aerobics as well. I have 1 problem in many parts. I have about 3 different levels of back rolls, a big butt, saggy breasts, a belly that hangs like a large butt in the front, and flag arms that could be raised at the Whit House. The question is, what can i do to keep all of these rolls from bouncing and making noises during aerobics. Currently, if I raise my arm, even in ater aerobics, I have to be careful I fast I lower it. I seem to be able to make the armpit fart sound without any effort. Sharyn 307/245/148 (Don't let the weight fool you, I'm only 5' and that's with shoes on)

It will get better as you lose more weight.

Hi Sharyn and congratulations on the weight loss and getting out there and moving. I would suggest getting tight fitting workout clothes. I prefer to wear lycra capri pants and a tight fitting exercise cami with a built in bra. To avoid offending everyone else with all my fat, I wear a long tank top over that... lol Once I wore regular shorts and a large shirt (my workout bag was in my car at the garage) and I hated every minute of it. My clothes kept getting caught while I would try and get on and off the machines at Curves and the backs of my knees would rub against the machines (I hated that too!). One problem I did encounter being an SMO was that not many companies make workout clothes for us. Apparently fat girls don't work out... lol I ordered a 4x from Just My Size and it looks like it would fit someone weighing 100lbs less than me. I put it away for when I do lose my next 100lbs. I did find a wonderful website that made workout clothes for us larger ladies. http://www.abigattitude.com Keep moving! Mercy

Sharyn, my upper arms flap as noisily as a flag in a stiff breeze during step aerobics. I just grin and bear it -- it's not like I'm the only one whose body is making strange noises during exercise class. I'm less than a month out from abdominoplasty, so that took care of my jellybelly. My arms and maybe breasts might be next. Best of luck. Kasey 365/215/195 (nonop)

Thanks Kasey. I'm going to hit the floor as soon as I get something for this belly, I don't want to make my hernia any worse.
