Hi Dorthe, Thanks for all your info... and thank you for your concern. I LOVE this... I am home all day and I love the pc... anytime I have a reason to make a chart, or graph, or slide show presentation... I'm in heaven!!! It takes me back to my "working days." This is part of a reply I sent ot Sandra, who had questions about the role of the "Decorating Committee." This might answer some of your questions if you are interested. So far we have about 30 birthday/surgery dates listed and I expect that number to grow in the next couple days. The decorating committee will divide up those names and dates and be responsible for posting a message on the over 50 bmi boards and/or the main message boards. For those who have given our email address, the decorating committee will also send an email birthday card/greeting from the "over 50 bmi" or "SMO" gang. The board post or greeting will just be a simple happy birthday message and virtual bday celebration/party (using a bunch of the emoticons we love so much!) It will allow others to acknowledge you and to come in and send you a special birthday message and have fun with the imaginary cake, ice cream, and strippers that we rave about. It is very similar to the message board party I had on the boards a few weeks ago. Willby (The QUEEN of Party) suggested the party patrol idea and I kinda took the idea and ran with it from there. This is a "new" learn as you go process and I'm sure as we move along there will be some changes, but this is my vision so far. As I get an idea of the number of parties we will throw(messages and emails that will need to be posted)and find out who is interested in helping to post those parties... I will layout a more structured plan through emails. We will have back ups in case of emergencies and a reminder messanger for the decorater... just in case you forgot about someone's bday or sugery date. I hope I have answered you questions.
