Hi Margaret,
I love Nectar Roadside Lemonade, it doesn't have as much of that protein aftertaste. I mix it up in my water bottle and I'm good to go. I have even mixed it with Crystal Light iced tea or lemonade. I also like Isopure ready to drink, cuz it's not thick and I can drink it like water. I get them both at Vitamin Shoppe. I looked on line, but with the shipping, the prices weren't much of a bargain. The first couple of times I went into the Vitamin Shoppe, I thought I would be laughed out of there. I guess it's all perception. I have gone to 2 different stores and the people working there were helpful both time without any attitude. I also like Muscle Milk ready to drink. The cookies and cream is yummy, as is the chocolate, but they are higher in fat. A couple of days after surgery, I went to a block party and still being on liquids, the muscle milk was a good idea.
For meal replacements I buy from DietHighprotein.com

The island smoothie is good mixed with ice and I also like the chocolate almond and strawberry. There is a little of the aftertaste, but not so bad and the chocolate almond and strawberry can be made into puddings.
Before surgery I ordered a protein sampler from http://www.bariatriceating.com and I was able to try all different kinds without having to buy a box of each.
hope that helps
Steff
Hi Margaret
I also use the chocolate by Body Fortress from wal mart and I also bought a vanilla EAS from walmart but it had an awful aftertaste and smell to me, but I recently used the vanilla with a spoonfull of fat free cool whip and 2 sweet n low and put it in the blender and it was awesome. Hope this helps a little.
Take care,
Anita
I'm stuck on chocolate or unflavored Unjury here ... it's been the one I've liked the taste of the most. The chocolate in skim milk is just about like chocolate milk, and I put sugar-free, fat-free instant pudding mix (about two tablespoons) into the unflavored and skim milk for a thicker, shake-like drink of whichever flavor I feel like. MMM banana is great! I did, however, try the new Unjury Strawberry Sorbet and really disliked it.
One thing I did at first was to get the taste-sample pack from Bariatriceating.com ... it was like 25 samples of different protein mixes. It wasn't too expensive, and it really helped me taste what's out there on the market. www.bariatriceating.com

HI All, I am new to your neck of the woods here, and look forward to getting to know all of you, and how you became successful, as I am soo needing it, as well as inspiration! lol
Anyway, as for protein, I love the Champion Pure Whey coca mocha, and banana scream, I have used the body fortress by wal-mart, but I stopped losing with it, and I like the EAS from walmart too..
