need a opinion???

I have a friend that just had RNY she have been having constipation and nausa she feel weak and tired but she won't call the dr. I think that she might be eating something to soon?? any advice on what to tell her?

Hi Marlena First off, we are not doctors here and she really needs to call her doctor. My humble opinion is she is not drinking enough which causes the constipation and weakness, but she really needs to contact her doctor. Thats how you can help her, insist she is risking her life by not making that phone call. good luck, Soos

i know your not doctors but i have stressed numerous time to call her doc i was just asking for a opinion on how to stress to her to call the dr. my apologize if it sounded like i need medical advice.

I think we all want to keep ourselves from running to the doctor at every little thing, But this surgery is definately something to be really careful with, Good Luck and tell her no question is a dumb question except the ones not asked.

Im sorry Marlena, I thought you were looking for advice on what might be her problem. I misunderstood. I guess my thoughts would be the same, just tell her you love her and want her to be well and if it were you, she would want you to call the Dr. so maybe she should think about it. Hi Marlena Perhaps if you point out that things will probably only get worse and a phone call is only a few minutes and could prevent so many other problems she'll get the big idea. If it is dehydration she could end up in the hospital and won't she feel foolish that she didn't just pick up the phone?? This might make her angry but if it gets her to call, then she'll get over it. LOL JMHO
