Is it just me????
OMG, carrying all this weight is making me grumpy!!
I mean I've been known to be a little grumpy from time to time but I find here recently I've been snapping at everyone. My back is killing me, I get out of the shower clean house and I feel like I need another one. This is sooooo extremely disgusting but I figure if I can't share it with you then who can I share it with??..here goes, does anyone else feel like they have a furnace between their legs???
I swear I can actually feel the heat coming off ol Bessy it's sooo horrible!! I just don't ever (and excuse the cliche) feel fresh!!
My husband wants everything the way it was when I was 20. Too much hurts now to keep up the way I used too. I mean it looks clean but you know what I mean..the drawers need to be cleaned out, the things that no one else sees but me. I seriously think some of my problem is hormonal, my period has been a no show for about 4 months. It comes and goes as it pleases.
I don't know how much longer I can handle these mood swings,
I'm mean to my husband, my children and I can't seem to get a handle on it. One minute I wanna cry, the next I could bite a nail in half!!
PLLLEEEAAASSSEE tell me someone else is experiencing this. I wake up saying I'm going to be good to myself and my family today
and then BAM someone spills something or something is dirty and BAM out comes the wicked witch screaming and yelling.
WOW! you have me smiling atleast.. I dont know that I have any advice that will actually help you but I do know that I have felt that same way both before surgery and then after too.. Although- I must admit, I can now clean my entire house in a day... I can do so much more before Im in so much pain that I cant stand it. So it does get better in many ways. But remember, we store hormones in our fat so as we drop pounds those nasty hormones are set free in our bodies!! Some people have emotional times, others dont seem affected by it..
Now for the "not so fresh feeling".. well.. that does change in ways after surgery... In ways its better, in others its worse! not what you wanted to hear huh?? well remember you body may very well go into ketosis after surgery so you may notice rancid breathe and also odors in "other" areas too..
the thing to remember is " a little discomfort for a short time is better then the pain of a lifetime of SMO!!"
Tell hubby it will get better! Plan a fun day with the kids to help make up for the bouts of anger.. and find a way to be nice to YOU!!

I'm so with you right now. Being that I have to sit/sleep in this chair because of my foot surgery I have developed a rash? redness/chaffing/itching/skin peeling.....something, well .......in my crotch area. Right along where your pubic line is in the whole triangle. Now it's in my belly button and along that "crease" (where my 2nd stomach used to be). I feel horrible. What's worse...........I can't even get upstairs to shower so I have to "wash up" sitting on a shower nakid in front of the kitchen sink for 1 more week.
Also, it's my monthly too. So I'm totally there with you.
I never got really sweatty, but my GF who is MO does and she's feels like you do. So she showers 2-3 times a day. If you feel you need to shower, then shower, I know I would living in Hawaii Heat!!!!! (you poor thing!!) So I would shower and put some Baby powder (Vanilla & Jasmine) all over you and you will feel soo much better.
The wicked witch will go away in time, especially after surgery. My wicked witch was all the hatered I had for letting myself get to that weight. I would take it out on everyone, because I was so miserable. Try to concentrait on the "good" things in your life while you are waiting on your surgeon.
~~Best Wishes and Take a shower kisses~~ (if you need too)
Carmella
Thanks Carmella you are so sweet....
I take A LOT of showers, my poor skin is close to an alligators..
I change my clothes alot too..well mostly my pants and panties I CAN'T Stand to have a "Sweaty Betty"...
I think I'll try the powder idea. When I was a little girl we kept constarch under our bathroom sink for me because I would get chaffed so badly.
For some reason that doesn't happen anymore..maybe I wore off a couple layers...
I know that my inner thighs and armpits do have discoloration. GEEZE and people think we WANT to be this way...
MY ADVICE IS FIRST OF SLL TAKE SOME TIME JUST FOR YOU DAILY I MEAN TAKE IT IF U HAVE TO DO U TAKE ANXIETY MEDS OR ANTI DEPRESSANTS THEY MAY NEED TO BE ADJUSTED OR CHANGED OR YOU MAY NEED ONE I KNOW NO ONE WANTS THEM BUT BELIEVE ME MY SON WAS SO GLAD WHEN I WENT I AM NORMAL AGAIN THEN I WOULD CONSULT MY OB ABOUT THE PERIOD THING BECAUSE THERE MAY BE AN UNDERLYING PROBLEM SO JUST SOME ADVICE FROM A MOM WHOSE SON WANTED TO DISOWN HER LOL LET ME KNOW HOW U R DOING LOVE CANDY
Candy I was on Prozac but quit taking it. Damn you can never get a "real" doctor with the military and I had this woman who was trying to be helpful I guess (military PA) anyway she prescribed Prozac for me for anxiety but one pill didn't do it and two pills made me soooo sleepy and just dazed. Hubby begged me to quit taking it and after sleeping through Several afternoons I quit. I think I took it maybe a month?? I've been toying with the idea of going back to try something else but haven't yet. I am such a baby when it comes to the doctor. Its not the pain it's the friggin embarrassment I KNOW I'll face!!
I just want to feel happy, normal you know what I mean? Even keel for once...
Hi Jamie,
I know that I go through that too. And for me since I am pre-op and have been struggling to get through things in life. Because I just want the weight off since I am going to have this surgery I am a little more cranky and annoyed about my weight.
I think that its just a very tough and very emotional time in our lives before and even after surgery. Because you are and have to change your whole lifestyle.
Thanks just a thought and a big HUG!!!

Hey Jamie, No its not only you. I have worried about "odors" and discomfort down south lol for years... I know this is TOTALLY women talk for sure but I never told anyone why I snapped over getting this surgery and woke up and really said YES its time to do something... I had my period a couple of months ago and was so upset that I almost cryed because I could no longer insert tampons anymore.. That was a major turning point for me. How much worse was I gonna let it get. my stomach keeps me from doing alot of things...URINE samples in cups as done said before.... So know the feeling of UUGGHH!!
Hugs Margaret
