I Got A Date: Need An Angel:
Dear Fellow Losers:
My Doctor Weber's office called today and said I was approved after only 3 days! All last week we were at Ocean Shores on vacation. The Friday before we left they sent my paperwork in, and by the following Monday, they called and left a message. I am really surprised. 
My surgery is October 10, 2005 at 11:30am at Swedish Medical Center (Ballard) Seattle WA 98107. I hardly know what to feel at this point. Just hoping I will have all the things I need by my surgery date. 
Really need to find and Angel 
Hope one of you will volunteer. All of this is so new to me. I went for my first seminar on August 8th and here it is less than 2 months and I have a date. 
Any advise you can give on what I will need to have at home and going in for surgery, gratefully accepted. 
Still wish I had another face to face support group to attend. I will be going to the Bellingham one next Monday night. Have an appointment with Dr. Weber on 9/29, and Pre-op Cpx 10/04.

I just wanted to congratulate you on your approval!! I can't wait till the day comes when I can be someones angel!!! I wish you the best through your journey!!! I heard through the grapevine that chapstick is an essential to bring with you to the hospital! As far as other important things.... these great people of the board should guide you well....

Let me add my congrads to your speedy approval and for the fastest I've ever seen surgery date confirmation!!! Girl, you win the prize!!This hardly gives you a chance to catch your breath....and then it's time to ride off into the sunset Hope to see you on the losing side soon. I turn in my papers next Monday. If I could get approved and a surgery date as quick as you...then my life is complete!!!

I just read your profile.Where is Camano Island?I just came back from visiting my Aunt And Uncle on Orcas Island Washington. Are you near there? We caught the ferry out of Bellingham my other uncle works as a bus driver for the city of Bellingham .Congrats on your surgery date. Mine Is October 24 so you will have to let me know how it goes.I like you still don't have an angel good luck maybe we will both find one

Thanks for the encouragement. Camano Island is across from Whidbey Island, half way between Bellingham and Seattle off the I-5 corridor. It's the only Island you can get to without a Ferry. Between Marysville and Mount Vernon. Congratulations on your date. Looks like we will be going through this together.
