This is a truly heartfelt thank you for each and every one of you.Thank you for taking the time to try to encourage me when I was so down. The obstacle(that dam#%ed diet) just seemed so insurmountable this morning. But with everyones help on here......I sat myslef down

and had a little talk. Self-pity never works for anyone

Hi Willby, Isn't it great to know that you are normal. I think anyone here who says or who have said that they weren't nervous or had some kind of doughts would be a liar.

There are always the what if's in the back of our heads...giving us self-dought. I think that this pre-op diet is a joke....but not a ha-ha joke. I think I posted this thought here before but....how will the surgeon know if your liver has shrunk???I mean, they haven't seen it before??? My dr. doesn't believe in the liquid diet or the losing weight before sugery. He thinks that the whole thing stresses out the paitent too much...after all...you don't have "the tool" yet. What do you have to prove to anybody???? By the way...it's O.K. to vent. Hugs to ya Willby! Love, Virginia P.s. almost no emoticons...what do ya think???

Willby whatever you decide I'm behind you 110%. I am here to support my SMO sisters (and brothers) and that's what I'm gonna do!!

Guzzle that liquid and try not to think about anything else. If things get to be too much come on here and we'll give you a few giggles and let you know that you are NEVER ALONE!!
