Please don't kick me out!!
Naw, I don't think you guys would really do that. But I am too happy to say that my BMI is now 49. All the way down from 64.5 when I started off in April. And I am fast approaching the 100lb mark(total before and after surgery). I started dieting on 4-8-05 when I weighed 399. I now weigh 304. I lost 20 lbs this last month, thanks to Katrina. It is nice to have 95 lbs off of me. When I hit the 100 not only will that be great cuz of that, but also I will be in the 200s finally after about 14 years.
Hope you are all well. Update on me and my Katrina situation. I came home to LA to live last night around 8pm. I have been in AR this last month. I am still out of work. I am hopeful and prayerful that my job will reopen. Since Rita reflooded it, they are thinking it will be 5 wks to 2 mos before they will open. I have decided to try to wait on them, as we are just happy to be home. And if that doesn't work out, possibly look around here. There are lots of people hiring, but most of the jobs would cut my pay in half. Ofcourse that is still better than what I am getting now which is zero. ...Take care ya'll.
Hey Kellie Jo,
From one Bayou Babe to another congratulations on your drop out of SMO territory
Glad to have you back in Louisiana. I know how hard it's been for the residents in and around N.O. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers. If you ever need anything let me know I'm just a stones throw away.
Take Care,
Kim
Hey Kim!
Thanks a lot. Yep, I am in Slidell, so you are not too far from here. My brother lives in Baton Rouge. He said you guys have a lot of evacuees there. He also said he is tired of all of them, lol. He works for a pizza place, so although it has been good for business, they are short handed, so he has been working like 70 hour weeks. I told him I am sure all those folks wish they could go home too. Nway, thanks again.
