New Surgeon

Well I managed to find a new surgeon and he is way closer than Little Rock. Its still an hours drive though. I went to his seminar on Saturday and he seems to know his stuff. Thank goodness cause I was worried about having to switch this far into the game. My first appointment is this morning at 11 am. So I'll be leaving about 8:30 this morning cause Memphis traffic is just out of this world in the mornings plus they are working on the loop around the city. We were twenty minutes late for the seminar because of it. Anyway, it looks like I won't have much of a wait. Just depends on how long it takes for the insurance company to send my new approval letter. I called to check on things Monday and my case manager said that they had to send a new letter as soon as the doctor's office called her. I called the doctors office back and told them. She said she would get right on it. Keep your fingers crossed that she did what she said. Anywhoo wish me luck! I am worried they will tell me I can't have it for a month cause I have a HORRIBLE head cold. Thanks for reading, Amy

Hey Amy! Just hang in there, it will be getting better Im sure. Im glad that you dont have much of a wait. I personally am the most IMPATIENT person on this board lol.... I will be looking for a new PCP soon if she dosent give me my clearance letter. She has had me jumping thru hoops for weeks now going from one thing to another. And when I get to the specialist, there isnt even a reason for being there. So I know the frustration with dr's. Hugs Margaret
