Ohh my!! I got on the scale this morning just to see if Ive lost anymore weight.. Im down a total of 47lbs in 7 weeks! I cant believe Im down almost 50lbs so quickly. Im still struggling with the nausea everyday but Im learning how to deal with it finally.. Now Im able to keep atleast 2 meals down a day.. My surgeon says that as time passes it will get better. I sure hope so cause its hard to enjoy the weightloss when you feel so crappy all the time.. Even with the nausea problem that Ive had things have been okay.. Im able to get out and do so much more then I could before. Things are so much better as I loose weight.. For those pre-ops- Just wait until its your turn. Your life will change so much! You will find yourself doing things that you havent done in years.. My big hightlights were being able to tie my shoes without feeling like a contortionist, painting my toe nails without struggling to reach them, and getting up off the floor without the help of a chair!! There are a couple down sides that I wasnt prepared for too!! Like the whole sore butt issue! I didnt think I had bones back there anymore, but ohh can I feel them now! My behind gets sore if I sit too long!! where they came from Im not sure- I dont ever remember the bones getting sore!! And yeah, the belly gets smaller but it also gets lower! Seems like everything up front is heading south quickly!! Thats okay though- I still feel good about my weight loss... Good luck to you all!! Amber

It's funny, I would not have imagined that the tailbone would be an issue when we lose weight. However, I have read about it and talked to more people about it since I started looking into the surgery. It's amazing how many have that pain. Oh well, that's a price I'm more than willing to pay for a healthier life. Congrats on your weight loss Amber, keep up the good work!
