Will I ever get approved???

Virginia, It WILL happen. I am the poster child for long approvals... it took me four years of hard fighting with the insurance (and my company DOES pay and approve other people in days) but they were just being jerks with my husband and I. I know that each day of the battle is hard but hang in there as it will all be worth it when you hear those words, "your're approved". HUGS Patti 499/395/180'ish

Hi Patti, Your husband had the surgery first right? Did you apply for the surgery at the same time? Or did you wait for the next year? Just me being nosey...don't worry...I won't tell anybody It just occurred to me that maybe with my son having his surgery in 2004, that it might had put up a few red flags on me...something to think about..or in my case..worry about. Virginia, Both Doc Williams and I were denied for four years. We jumped through the identical hoops and continued to get the same denial letters. Finally our PCP threatened to sue them and hold the medical review board personally responsibile for the decisions that they were making about our health that was contrary to his opinion and the opinion of EVERY specialist that we saw. Well, Cory was approved within 2 days of the litigation threat and I was approved the following week. Cory had his surgery on June 28 and I was five weeks later on August 2. You will get there! Hi Virginia , I'm crossing my fingers (and my toes) that you will be approved very soon!! I was lucky in that area, bu****ing for anything in any step of this whole process is almost unbearable. You'll be approved soon... I know it. Thanks for answering my post, too. Take Care, Tanja
