Patti, Well, whichever one of you it was, you're both doing great. Is it nice to have your own live in WLS partner?? I would think it would be helpful. Maybe some nice man on the OH website will see my profile and want to sweep me off my feet... a girl can dream - right? Take Care, Tanja

Tanja, Thanks! YES, it is wonderful to be doing this with my husband. If our surgeon would have done it, we would have had surgery the same day but he requires that family members be at least a month apart. I ended up having my surgery 5 weeks after Doc Williams. It really helps to not have to cook different foods... I know it must be hard for people who are the only ones who had WLS and everyone else in the house eats the same as before... however, I have heard a lot of people say that after they had WLS their family members started eatting much healthier and lost weight too. NOW, beautiful one (you inspired me to compare photos with your stunning photos on your profile!!!!!!), we need to find you someone to love! I know that there are a lot of kooks online but that is where I found my true love... I was bored waiting for my dad to send me a photo of their new patio and was on AOL and typed in cribbage (a card game) and theology in the profile search and came up with my honey. Out of the millions of people on AOL there were three profiles with cribbage and theology in them. One was an old man, one was a lady and the third was Cory. He happened to be online at the time so I sent him a note saying, "so, a cribbage playing theologian, hu?" He lived in Boston and I lived in Washington State. We were married three months and a day after I sent that original message and we just celebrated our 7th anniversary last week so something must be working. So, you NEVER know where you will find your true love!!!! HUGS Patti

Hi Patti, First off, I am glad that my photos inspired you to look at your own progress. That means a lot to me! Secondly, yours is a great story. I am glad you were able to meet someone to share your life with. I know, I have met many of those "kooks" online already!! But maybe I will come across the right one soon enough - lol. I'll have to try your search method . Thanks for the support. Take Care, Tanja
