I DONT SEE HER AS OFTEN. 2) WHAT CHANGE WILL MOST LIKELY BE NOTICABLE BESIDES WEIGHT AFTER GOAL IS MET? BEING MORE OUTGOING AND MAYBE NEW DOO.. 3)HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING INTO WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY? TWO YEARS 4) IS THERE ANYONE THAT WASNT HAPPY ABOUT YOUR DESICION FOR THE WLS?I HAD THE BEST SUPPORT OF CHEERLEADERS IN MY CORNER 5)IS THERE ANYONE THAT COULD HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND ABOUT WLS? I think I would want to see either the first love of my life or my current ex 2. WHAT CHANGE WILL MOST LIKELY BE NOTICABLE BESIDES WEIGHT AFTER GOAL IS MET? Hopefully be more outgoing and adventurous and dressing in nice clothes instead of baggy sweats 3. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING INTO WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY? I started looking into it as far back as 1993-94, but gave up on it a couple times since then. I started looking seriously again in December of 2004, and this time I succeeded 4. IS THERE ANYONE THAT WASNT HAPPY ABOUT YOUR DESICION FOR THE WLS? As far as I know, everyone who knew about it supported me to the fullest 5. Who?...hmmm, I couldn't decide between everybody and anybody! 2) WHAT CHANGE WILL MOST LIKELY BE NOTICABLE BESIDES WEIGHT AFTER GOAL IS MET? Being able to move easier (hopefully arthritis pain will lesson) and smiling more! 3)HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING INTO WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY? Too long; since 1999. 4) IS THERE ANYONE THAT WASNT HAPPY ABOUT YOUR DESICION FOR THE WLS? Yes, at first my daughter, but she's come around. Also, a close friend has been acting distant since I have decided on the surgery. 5)IS THERE ANYONE THAT COULD HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND ABOUT WLS? My doctor maybe, if I had some internal problem that made this surgery impossible for me. I would look into other surgical options.

She ALWAYS has a comment about my weight...but she ALWAYS follows it up with..."its only because I love you" 2) WHAT CHANGE WILL MOST LIKELY BE NOTICABLE BESIDES WEIGHT AFTER GOAL IS MET? I hope to be more outgoing and more FUN!! I'm hoping the "REAL" Jamie Simon will step up.... 3)HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING INTO WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY? Technically 5 yrs. I went for surgery back in 2001 but backed out.... 4) IS THERE ANYONE THAT WASNT HAPPY ABOUT YOUR DESICION FOR THE WLS? I think it would have been easier if you had asked me "was there anyone who WAS happy about you going for WLS"...My mom, my dad, brother, great grandmother, husbands grandmother, TOTAL STRANGERS...etc... My sister and my very best friend are all for it. 5)IS THERE ANYONE THAT COULD HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND ABOUT WLS? I really don't think so because I am VERY close to my mom and she has tried to talk me out of it several times. We rarely talk about it anymore because she is so negative about it. If anyone could have changed my mind it would have been her.

I like to think that I will feel more comfortable in my own skin and that will show. 3)HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING INTO WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY? Since 1995 when a friend of mine had it done. 4) IS THERE ANYONE THAT WASNT HAPPY ABOUT YOUR DESICION FOR THE WLS? No one that I know of in my close circle of friends and family. There have been a few naysayers of the aquaintance variety. 5)IS THERE ANYONE THAT COULD HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND ABOUT WLS? The only one that could have changed my mind is my husband. This is a life altering, risky surgery. If he had said that he didn't want me to do it, I wouldn't have.

I am sure most of them are dead or in prison and I would love to show them how successful I have been once I reach my WLS goal and in life in general. 2) WHAT CHANGE WILL MOST LIKELY BE NOTICABLE BESIDES WEIGHT AFTER GOAL IS MET? To not be in constant physical pain. 3)HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING INTO WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY? Six years... Took me two years of research and prayer to decide to do it and then four years to get insurance approval. 4) IS THERE ANYONE THAT WASNT HAPPY ABOUT YOUR DESICION FOR THE WLS? Only a couple of people at work whose opinions I could care less about. Everyone else was thrilled about my decision and have been very supportive. 5)IS THERE ANYONE THAT COULD HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND ABOUT WLS? I would say only my husband... as Ellen said, if he wasn't in support of it, I would not have done it as we make all of our major decisions together. But, of course, he was all for it... he actually decided before I did to have WLS (I still held out for a good six months after he had seen a surgeon). Patti

I looked into it for 3 years before I finally went under the knife. 4) IS THERE ANYONE THAT WASNT HAPPY ABOUT YOUR DESICION FOR THE WLS?
