THE JEANS.................
Ok, girls.......some of you know that I said that when my foot was feeling better and I was able to get around, I was RUNNING to the store to buy me a pair of jeans.
Well tonight I decide I'm going to stop in at Fashion Bug. Now have you, I have NO idea what size clothes I'm in anymore. I look like hell in these clothes, but I have to be honest, I feel better in them because it reminds me of how much weight I have lost. I do know I have to let go and accept the fact that my body is drastically changing.
So, I'm walking around looking at jeans, with zippers and buttons!!! And I do discover that Jessica Simpson had a new line of jeans out at Fashion Bug. I didn't try any on, just looked at them.
I didn't know what size to grab so I just said to myself, "Self, you have lost 105 pounds and you were in a 30/32, you have got to be in a 24 by now." So I grab the 24's with a 22/24 top and head to the dressing room.
Well..................I got the son's of b**ches on!!!!!!! Holey crapola. I was laughing out loud in the dressing room.!!!! Now they didn't look that great on me cuz I'm not used to wearing a short type shirt that "fits" me. I always bought longer shirts to cover my "caboose" and my tummy.
I didn't buy them, because I felt that I still need to lose some weight in my tummy and thighs before I buy them.
So...I came to the conclusion that I am going to wait on my jeans. I will live with the clothes that I have now. I want my first pair of jeans to look good on me, not just ok. And I want to feel good wearing them. They were tight and that bothered me, thinking again "Oh how fat I am." So I needed a reality check and put my "big" clothes on that 5 months ago were so tight on me that if I farted in my pants they would pop!!!!
The saga of the jeans will carry on, until next time!!!!!!
Love to all!!!~~~

Hello Carmella,
Congratulations on your weight loss. I've been shopping at
thrift stores (2nd hand stores) for my jeans. I've found some
really good deals for less than $3.00. Good name brand jeans
at that. I don't want to spend lots of money on clothes I'll
outgrow fast.
Looking forward to hearing the jean saga continue.
You are too funny.
Take care,
Diana

Girl, buy some clothes that fit! If you like baggy clothes right now, they will be baggy soon enough as you continue to lose. Your husband deserves to see you in more falttering clothes and so do you. Check out the thrift stores and the sale racks. Lots of hugs and congratulations on a job well done. Loris
