5 Questions for Monday
I guess since I answered first yesterday, today's questions fall to me. 
So here goes.....
1. Is there a fashion trend that you fell for that you wish there were no pictures of?
2. What is your favorite book and why?
3. Do you live within 1 hour of where you grew up? If you don't, do you wish you could move back? If you do, do you wish you could leave? 
4. Do you prefer to take your vacation time on a trip or stay at home and relax?
5. What kind of computer do you have, and would you buy it again? (Shameless information seeking here, we're looking at buying a new one.)

5. What kind of computer do you have, and would you buy it again? (Shameless information seeking here, we're looking at buying a new one.) 
1. Hm ... can we pretend the late sixties didn't exist? 
Halter-topped, bra-LESS, bell-bottomed, and barefoot? No wait ... that *was* a fun time ... nevermind, just don't show me pictures!
2. I love the Harry Potter series ... just for the characters and imagination the woman put into them. I'd love to be able to write something like those. And *any* Stephen King book. All are repetitive reads for me.
3. I live where I grew up. Moved away for short stints and then came home like a homing pigeon.
4. Trip! Need one, haven't been on a trip in so long!
5. Dell ... yes, have bought two so far ... definitely hands-above the others I've had (HP, Compaq, "clone"). Great service, good machinery, and you can build your own on their website. Geez, now *I* sound like an ad! Sorry I'm an avid computer geek!

2. What is your favorite book and why?the bible you can read it time and time again and learn something every time

4. Do you prefer to take your vacation time on a trip or stay at home and relax? I am always on Vacation whats work lol

Hi there I am back from my trip to Maine...here are my answers.
1) I don't know if anyone remembers Skidz...they were really ugly flannel pants. I had a pair that were black and yellow checkers...i looked like a taxi!
2)I don't get to read much anymore, but I used to love Dean Koontz and Stephen King.
3)I live 10 minutes from where i grew up and absolutely love it. I stayed here so my daughter could attend the same school district I grew up in and so she could be close to her grandparents.
4)Definitely go on a trip, but usually can't afford to.
5)I also have a Dell and I love it, however I have to say it came with a really crappy printer and you can only buy Dell ink online which i find to be very inconvenient. The printer will only take Dell ink.

Where are your answers????

The 70's with the afro hair do... just didn't look good on a fat blond haired kid!

A Prayer for Owen Meany.... excellent book that took you thru an broad spectrum of emotions. I think everyone could relate to Owen in some way.

I live 2489 miles from where I grew up. We actually are talking about moving to Montana after we finish our educations. My brother who will be 50 just moved back to Montana where we grew up this past weekend after living in Utah for 25 years. He and his wife seem so excited to be home... it is making me extra homesick!

I am a travel bug.
5. What kind of computer do you have, and would you buy it again? (Shameless information seeking here, we're looking at buying a new one.)
EMachine... CHEAP and good.... This is our third one... we bought our first seven years ago, added a second about 5 years ago and then last spring replaced our older one with a new one... I am all for CHEAP and have never had a minute of trouble with any of them.

1. Is there a fashion trend that you fell for that you wish there were no pictures of? I used to own a pair of neon pink and purple striped leg warmers.
2. What is your favorite book and why? I love the Bible. I agree with Shelley, I learn something new every time I read it. As far as fiction goes, I like the Harry Potter series, can't wait for the next one. 
3. Do you live within 1 hour of where you grew up? If you don't, do you wish you could move back? If you do, do you wish you could leave? I live 6 hours from where I grew up. That's a good distance, they don't visit often, but it's not so far away that they can't come visit.
4. Do you prefer to take your vacation time on a trip or stay at home and relax? I like to take trips and stay home and relax, either works for me.
5. What kind of computer do you have, and would you buy it again? (Shameless information seeking here, we're looking at buying a new one.) We currently have an HP that we love, but it's nearly 4 years old now and getting badly out dated.

hey, Everyone!
1. the 80's,as in "girls just wanna have fun"..the Madonna look,LOL, my kids love to look at those pict. and laugh!!
2. I am a big reader, so that one is tough..I guess on of my top 5 favorites is "Diary of Anne Franks", I read it when I was around 12 yrs old and was drawn to her courage.
3.I live 3 houses up from my birthplace and I love living here.
4. Travel!!
5. Dell-I love it. I have not had any problems with it.
