In addition to having my day start off with the knowledge I finally broke 100 lbs, I also got to take a business trip to Houston. My first since WLS. My secretary bought me 2 seats as usual. I'm glad she did, but, I know it is the last time. I could actually put the arm down on the seat! I didn't need the seat belt extender. I actually had about 3 inches to spare. This is so big for me! I've gone through the humiliation of the 2 seats on my business and personal trips and the humiliation of asking for the seat belt extender for about 12 years now. I was by myself so I have been celebrating alone today, but, I wanted to let you guys know, because I know you know how it feels! Thanks for being there. Lori 384/282/170

oh lori! i'm soooo happy for you! i had the same experience just a short while ago. when i realized i didn't need the extender, i, too, was traveling alone. i wanted to jump up and shout it out to the other passengers on the flight! i didn't, but i sure wanted to! and that's when i figured out i didn't need two seats anymore either! on my next flight, i worked up my courage to try using the plane restroom...and i fit with no problem! it all just feels so wonderful! CONGRATULATIONS to you. deb -189
