Hi all...How's it going?
Wow, it's been a few weeks since I have been here. Hope everyone is doing great and meeting all their goals. I am about 2 1/2 months out and I have lost a little over 70 pounds. I have gone from a size 32 to a 22 but I am too cheap to buy new clothes yet while I am still losing weight so quickly so I am swimming around in my 32s (which my mom calls clown pants). I saw the surgeon yesterday and I have hernias, but I am going to wait. I have an appt with him on Jan 16th and a plastic surgery consult the same day, since I would like a tummy tuck and some Pamela Anderson boobs. He says it would not be too soon for plastic surgery because I will have lost more than 100 pounds by then, and right now, already, I have no fat on my legs and my arms look amazing. It is just my "pouch" that is a problem. The doctor feels that due to my age and the great condition of my skin, PS would be great for me and even if I lose more weight I will still have great results. Most of my skin is snapping right back (I have no stretch marks and have never been in the sun unprotected), and the only problem area is the belly. My doctor says that because I have had c-sections and other abdominal surgeries, they can permanently damage the skin and muscle and plastic surgery is the only way to get them back. I am hopeful and excited. This is all happening so fast!! People now, even more than before, comment on how young I look and I am carded for everything from liquor to lottery tickets. If anyone has not done this yet, I wish you all the best. This is truly the best thing I have ever done. I have no will power and have never been on a diet before, but I don't even like the things I used to. I have no "dumping" and have tolerated everythig I have tried, even the "no-nos" like peanuts, popcorn, diet pepsi with a straw. I am absolutely thrilled.
