Somebodys got a date!!!

Hi everybody! Yes, to day was the day....My surgery date is November 23rd!! that is the day before Thanksgiving. Looks like I won't be cooking Thanksgiving dinner after all!!! We also won't be traveling to Kingman,AZ (4 hr. drive)to have dinner with my in-laws after all. I don't have a clue what my family will be having for Thanksgiving dinner. Maybe it will be at KFC, maybe the hospital cafeteria....but I know now what I'll be having....ice chips, apple juice, and a side of sugar-free jello...maybe even a touch of clear broth on the side!!! What kinda timing is this anyway??? I AM so greatful and I am not complaining. Thank you to all of you who have been there for me when I was just too tired to jump through any more of the hoops the insurance company put in front of me. I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for the first time in my SMO life.....no, it's not the "light" as in.."going to the light"..no thank you..not in this body!! Anyways...thank you again..I still need all of you..you are my rocks!(I loved my "pet rocks" too Soos!!) Hugs and smiles, Virginia in Arizona

congtrats. the other side of this journey should be a"peice of cake". can't possibly be any harder than this year has been. the things we have to do to make thosse insurance companies happy. good luck to you and god bless. my date is Nov 15, and who cares if we can't eat a big meal at least we won't have to cook and clean. we can always pretend to be watching football and sneak in a little nap. best wishes for a speedy recovery all my best carol

Virginia, thats wonderful news! I can't wait for my surgery date, i have a feeling it will be close to Christmas. Nothing like spending the holidays in the hospital, but you will Never forget this Thanksgiving and you will be glad you did! Karyn
