Thank you!
Sending a great big thank you to all *****sponded to my weight gain question the other day.
! Thank you! It's great to know that you aren't alone in these things. This is such an awesome group here, I feel so lucky to have stumbled on to this website.
I'm sorry for not responding right away. I did do something that helped though. I went to FitDay and register for an account. Then I went through and tallied up what I ate the day before. Holy COW, almost 4000 calories!! What an eye opener that was.
That's a great tool, adds up your calories, fats, proteins, carbs, etc.
I'm reading a lot lately about people being really hungry in the early weeks after the surgery. Other people don't. I wonder why the hunger with some and not the other? Do you think it's the surgeon, how much water and protein you get down? A combination of both?
Man, am I going through some changes. I find myself really nervous and antsy about my upcoming surgery.
Just trying to take this one day at a time and not feel so overwhelmed with all that I have to prepare for.
I got my sample pack through the mail that I ordered from bariatriceatting. I tried the protein bar. It was suppose to be chocolate peanut butter or something like that. It tasted frankly, like cardboard with a little ant spray added. Oh well, maybe when I have the surgery my taste buds will change. Or maybe I'll be so hungry it'll taste good.
