I dont think things have changed they all worry to much

1)What decorating "themes" do you have in your house and what rooms are they in? ~I have lighthouses in my living room, cows in my kitchen, and mess everywhere else. 2)What movie could you watch over and over and never get sick of it? ~The Princess Bride. 3)If you could only use one word to describe yourself what would it be? ~Fat. 4)What food do you/will you miss the most after WLS? ~Chocolate and Pizza, not together though. 5)How do you feel WLS will/has changed your current relationships with spouses/friends? ~I really try hard not to think too much about that actually. I'm preop and I'm trying to focus on my health. I do hope that because I am healthy and more capable of getting around that our relationships will be closer and more authentic. I think that those changes will come about more from the changes in character that I will have to make to succeed rather than the surgery itself.

I alreday miss it Kim-I hear ya - I am also surrounded by takers and I have always been a giver. I think that is what worries me most about my marriage, because I am sure I wont be so willing to be taken advantage of. It's a Wonderful Life. THEY SEEM TO PLAY OUT TO QUICK AND YOU HAVE WAY TO MUCH MONEY INVESTED SO JUST DO THE ROOMS IN WHAT COLORS I LIKE. LINEN,OLIVE,REDS,GOLDS, 2)WHEN HARRY MET SALLY 3)IMPATIENT 4)DESSERTS OF ALL KINDS 5)I HOPE IT WILL MAKE ME FEEL MORE OUTGOING AND WANT TO DO MORE WITH FAMILY AND HUSBAND.

Just more for me to clean and being SMO I couldn't do it. 2)What movie could you watch over and over and never get sick of it? I worked at a video store years ago and every night I would put in Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles. 3)If you could only use one word to describe yourself what would it be? Not one particular food, I just miss the feeling of maybe holding a huge hamburger in my hands with bun and all and taking a huge bite out of it!!!! 5)How do you feel WLS will/has changed your current relationships with spouses/friends? Because of this surgery me and my sister in law no longer speak, we were best friends. It has changed my marriage for the better!!!

1. Decorating themes - I think one of the bathrooms is done in a beach theme with a sea shell shower curtain or something. I'm a man so I don't notice such things 2. Movie: Rocky I (great underdog story) 3. One word: Organized 4. I miss bread. We can eat bread if it is toasted, but I miss having to eat a lean hamburg or a low fat hot dog without the bun. Someone else mentioned earlier about eating rice. Yes I eat rice. I just eat a small amount of it. I gotta have my chinese!! after 4 months post-op, I can eat about anything I want as long as the quantity is small. (I had 8 pieces of candy corn today and that was enough to take the craving away) I do miss that uncomfortable full feeling I would get after eating an entire pizza or a half box of cereal. As uncomfortable as that overly full feeling was, I strangely miss that.... wierd huh? 5. The wife is happy with the results, but because she is a surgical RN, she was overly worried during my recovery. Her and the surgeon would start talking about me and pretty soon I would have no idea what they were saying My wife is a lightweight (about 5' 8" and 220 when I had my surgery). Since my surgery, she has lost 25 pounds herself because of my new eating routine and 5 day workout schedule. As for other family, my brother had the surgery 3 months before me and he is down about 130 pounds to 345. So obviously, he is supportive. In fact, I have not come across anyone that has treated me negatively. I guess I am lucky! Sam 464/390/225

Let's see... we have the "school room"... most people have a den but ours is affectionately called the school room. The dining room also houses my husband's organ so it is the "music room". Our master bath actually does have a theme.. it is gold and cream colored and is done in angels so it is the "angel bathroom". Our second bath is in green with the bear themed stuff so we call it the "log cabin bathroom". I guess really we only have themes for the bathrooms... the rest of the house is themed "La Clutter" 2)What movie could you watch over and over and never get sick of it? ANY Christmas movie. My favorite is "A Christmas Story" and I actually just bought a copy of it on Friday at our church fall festival and I just mingh****ch it here in a few minutes since my husband and puppies are taking a nap! 3)If you could only use one word to describe yourself what would it be? We have had to remove food as a big part of our life together. A good thing is when we have tried to diet in the past it has always ended up me being a nag. Now Cory HAS to be involved in his diet and his diet decisions so this is a very good thing. Patti
