New to this board

I just wanted to say "Hi!" I'm new to the over 50 BMI board. My surgery is scheduled for December 12th. Before that, I probably have to have a colonoscopy, which I'm dreading. They always have a hard time sedating me. I'v also never had this procedure and did not get to pick the doctor (because of my insurance). So that's that. So wish me luck. Maybe they'll find hidden treasure up there and I'll go buy a new car.

Welcome to the board Rebecca. I read your profile. My surgery was done at the Wish Center in Illinois. I think they are very good. Doctor Rosen is excellent in my opinion. I think you are in good hands. Good luck. John

Dr. Rosen will be doing my surgery, too. Actually, I get the special VIP treatment -- I'll have Dr. Schofield and Dr. Rosen. With higher BMI patients, they like to have two surgeons. I haven't met Dr. Rosen yet, but his qualifications look very good. Thanks for the welcome

Hey Rebecca! Welcome to the board. You have come to the right place. We hope you will hang around and let us give ya some of our fancy ways of giving support. We have parties and have strippers all the time. That is when Candy dont go and hog them. And we have our own built in Ice Cream expert.
