I had a couple to share actually. I am almost 8 months post op, I've actually got two weeks to go until I am 8 months post op. So I decided to weigh myself this week for the first time in a while. I've decided that my scale isn't the best measure of my weight loss (something I'd never thought I'd say) The first wow moment was me hopping on the scale and seeing the number 225. I didn't know what to do. I've never weighed this little. Its a little bit mind numbing for me to try and think about. I jumped up and down I was so excited. Also not something that I do too often. I was surprized that I could manage to jump up and down. The second thing was that I went shopping this weekend at Wal-mart for some new clothes, NOTHING in my closet fit anymore. I found the most adorable skirt, misplaced in the plus size womens section. It was actually a JR's plus skirt, size 17.. that fit!!! I was in the dressing room screaming about it. People must think I'm nuts. Faith Lap RNY 350/225/160

Hi Faith, That is wonderful! You've done a great job, and fitting into Jr. sized clothing is no easy feat these days (they look so tiny - lol)!! Keep it up. Take Care, Tanja
