Update
Hello Friends,
I'm doing fantabulas and I hope and pray that you all are doing well and staying encouraged.
Today is the first day that I was able to get online and check my emails. I have been diagnosed with an eye condition called Iritis. At first I thought I had pink eye or allergy eyes because my eyes are very sensitive to light, constantly watering, red and irritated. My pupils won't dilate because of the swelling/inflammation and white blood cells in my eyes which causes blurred vision. I feel like I am walking in fog. My eye Dr. thinks that it is caused by a underlined medical condition which I am under going a lot of lab test ... blood work, chest x rays, TB test etc. My vision is getting better and the fogginess in leaving as I administer two different eye drops hourly for the next month.
I have found an apartment that I am interested in renting and will be submitting my application for it on Saturday ... please pray that I get it. The apartments are conveniently located near shopping centers, fitness center, library and my church.
As far as my weight loss is concerned I am currently experiencing my first major plateau and I am waiting for it to pass. Overall ... I feel great! Getting out and about is so fantastic. I have not driven in 6 years due to my size which made it impossible for me to properly operate a vehicle. On this weekend I am going on a practice run to check on my driving skills to see if I am ready to resume driving.
Take care of yourselves and I will return to the board as soon as my eyes get better.
Bless you,
Georgeann
Hi Georgeann,
Sorry to hear about the eye problem, but I am glad you are doing well otherwise. I am crossing my fingers that you get the apartment you want. It sounds like a great location. I'm sure that plateau will break soon with your determination; you've done so well already, and now you'll be driving again... Wow, must be a great feeling. My weight loss is going very well; I had a small plateau (one week), but other than that, my results have exceeded my expectations. I go for my 6 month check-up next month, and I'm sure my surgeon will be pleased as well. I'm glad you liked the new picture. My friends on the board convinced me it was time to get rid of the old one
! Oh, I also became an Angel
to someone - my good friend, Margaret, from Georgia.
Well, take care, and I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you around the board again when you get everything situated and your eyes are better.

Georgeann,
I'm sorry to hear about your eye problem. I hope it gets better soon. I will be praying for you. I was about to send out the search team to try to find ya!!!! lol I have been doing fine. Just trying to get used to eating better. It's rough, but I'm doing ok. You know how it is. Well take care, girly.

Hi Georgie,
It's good to hear from you again. I am sorry to hear about your eye situation. I hope you are feeling better soon. Congratulations on taking the steps toward driving again. I haven't driven in years because I cannot move my legs around my belly well enough to reach the pedals. I can't wait to be able to drive again. My soul needs that freedom. I hope all of your testing turns out well. I will keep you in my prayers regarding all things medical and for your apartment. Take gentle care.- Shelley C.
