Denied.... AGAIN!!!!!!!

There are no words to describe what and how I feel right now.

This is the second denial I have gotten from Cigna.

Once again claiming lack of 6 months diet documentation. I have 60 days to appeal, and that's all there is.

I have a call into my PCP, but he is not in today. I left an urgent message for him to call me ASAP!

Insurance companies are such a pain to work with - I'm in the midst of my first appeal myself. I SOOO understand how frustrating it is, I'm in tears half the time. Big hugssss to you. Pam ps-are you using a lawyer for the appeal?

Dear Ruth.... OMG..that is terrible news...

I don't understand how 6 month diet doc. is needed again. Are they totally incompetent over there???

Do you think the problem is coming from the PCP's end and that's why the idiots (cigna) is not on the right page???

Why is it that whenever you need an answer with dr or insurance people..they are "out of the office" or on a long "vacation" and nobody there can help you???

Been there done that one as you well know. I was told by somebody here on the board that once you are denied for one reason..and you show proof..they can't deny you again for the same reason..it's the law!!

I'm sure it is just a clitch in the paperwork because I know you Ruth...you've got a copy in duplicate and tripilcate even. You do know your stuff. I don't know what to say but...hang in there! You are soo close and have worked too long and hard on this to walk away..like THEY want you to do!!

Another stalling tatic maybe..but NOt for long! You'll know more tomorrow...but untill then let me give ya a big hug(((((((((((((((RUTH))))))))))))) I hope I can lift you even a tiny percentage that you have helped me...while trying to get through this HELL they call INSURANCE AUTHORIZATION!!!! Talk to ya later!
