like a bow..........if I have to kick my apron along to walk..........If I take flight on a windy day cuz of my batwings.........I will never nevernevernever (did I mention NEVER?) have another surgery. I'm feeling better every day. And I had this surgery to improve my quality of life............but i foolishly was thinking to myself(hhhmmmmmm........maybe a breast lift or tummy tuck?)I am waaaaaaaaaaaay too old to be doing different things to myself. Veronica, ((((((BIG WARM SMO HUG FOR YOU)))))))))))) I dont know if you have kids or not..............but this surgery is sort of like that..........the closer it gets to the due date.........the more freaked out you get. "And you want me to get that big fat babys' head out of WHERE???!!!??????" But, it seems like its something we have to GO through to get to the end. You will be fine and do like I do...........I draw strength from every person who has gone before me. good luck!! willby thinsoon

hmmm now you are really letting me down...afterall my know it all, done it all friend who had gallbladder surgery, informed me that I would be up and running around the next day after this surgery as WLS is a piece of cake! I really do hope you are feeling better soon. In a few months you'll look back and realize why it was all so worth it!!!!!!! Diane

hey Diane! Today was my turning point. I feel a lot like my old self. TRUST ME!!!! The WLS is like having a baby(This is Grandma Soos advice!!) right after wards you tell yourself......never again. But then the pain fades and you start looking at your significant other with that twinkle in your eye. (lost my twinkle a looooooooooong time ago.......now its just a myopic squint). I have it from a very good source that this surgery will change your life and it is ALL worth it!! thanks for the support! willby thinsoon

MIRAGES............... remember on Bugs Bunny when his friends would turn into large pork chops and stuff like that when he was starving?? Since I have been on this diet I have mirages too!! Like the road when we're going down the freeway starts to look like fresh baked brownies... and sometimes I see cupcakes that aren't there... Now you're seeing pretzels amongst the emoticons... At least I am not going crazy alone...
